At Montebello
Your residency at Montebello includes many free amenities including a beautiful community with two pools and an exercise room. On site and for the exclusive use of Montebello residents, there is a convenience store, dry cleaner, restaurant. Montebello is less than a mile from Alexandria, but the community is actually in Fairfax County. Fairfax County is considered by many to be one of the wealthiest and most dynamic counties in America.
Balcony
Every unit at Montebello has a balcony or deck. Most of these are enclosed in sliding glass doors for enjoyment all year round. Your balcony is a great place to take a lunch, watch a sunset or just enjoy the view. The annual firework display is impressive from the roof, but every day view is peaceful and wonderful.

Fitness Center
Montebello has both male and female work-out rooms in the community center. This is open to all residents from the early morning until late a night. In addition the nearby Mount Vernon Recreation Center has a fully equipped facility. Gold's, Curves and other commercial work-out facilities are very close by.
Hiking, Biking
Montebello is ringed by trails that snaked through our 33 acres of land. Bikers are less than a mile from the bike trails of the George Washington Parkway, a system of trails, jogging paths and hiking trails in that connect Mount Vernon (6 miles south) to the south and National Airport (5 miles north).

Montebello residents have many options. The community owns two very nice tennis courts. The Mount Vernon Rec Center has courts as well. The Belle Haven Country Club golf course and courts are close by.
Restaurants
In addition the onsite restaurant, there's no end of choices in the surrounding area. In the immediate area, there is pizza, Thai, Chinese, El Salvadoran, Mexican, American, fast-food, Vietnamese, Korean and more. Nearby is a Greek/American restaurant, Indian restaurant, and good fast food.
In Old Towne, a fickle gourmand can always find something to suit his budget and tastes: Le Gaulois, La Madeliene, King St. Blues, South Austin Grill, Murphy's Pub, Las Tapas and many more. On Jefferson Davis Highway ("restaurant row"), a wide variety of chain restaurants and local talent offer a more suburban feel: Applebee's, T.G.I Friday's, Chili's, Chevy's, Old Country Buffet, Chipotle and every fast food chain.
Shopping
Upscale or downscale or anywhere in between, it's all close by. Montebello is strategically located close to warehouse stores like Target, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Walmart, Petsmart, Staples and more. But Montebello is also close to the boutiques, respected and high-end chains of Old Towne: Joseph A. Bank, the Gap, Banana Republic, Bombay Company, Restoration Hardware, Anne Taylor, Talbot, Chico's, and many more.
